LERTI is a computer forensics laboratory (see definition in Wikipedia). It is the only forensics expert recognized by the Appeal courts. We are a small company consisting of five associates plus one employee. We are located in the technical estate in the town of Meylan (in the county of Isère in France).
JOB DESCRIPTION

LERTI is looking to recruit a second employee capable of assisting our associates in tracking data on hard disks, mobile telephones, SIM cards, swipe cards, smart cards, and all types of data storage medium. You will participate in writing up reports for use as legal evidence. You must be free to travel throughout Europe.
REQUIRED PROFILE AND EXPERIENCE

Technically, you must have a sound knowledge of the Windows and Unix (Linux) environments and be adaptable new environments. You must be extremely rigorous in your work and be very observant.
You must understand the customer’s expectations and be able to provide him/her with the results of your research in reports that can be easily read and understood by the layman. You will work under strict secrecy. You must be capable of winding up urgent an expert examination on evenings or weekends, or of assisting our associates during major investigations that may require you to work almost non-stop for several days. You will be subjected to the sight of crime scenes.
Pre-requisites: English No previous convictions
Required education qualifications: computer technology level equivalent to 4 years of university study. You may lack professional experience, but you must be fascinated by information technology and know how to handle a screwdriver.
